A Length

Place the end of the tape next to the collar at the top of the shirt (highest point on the shoulder). Pull the tape measure down to the bottom of the shirt.

Measure yourself around the largest part of your chest. Hold the measuring tape horizontally.

Place the end of the tape at the seam under the sleeve and pull the measuring tape over the shirt to the seam under the opposite sleeve.
